At Home & In the Garden
✔ Lock doors and sheds – even while you’re at home
✔ Never leave ground floor windows open when you are out, asleep or in the garden

✔ Use lights or timers in the evening to make homes look occupied 

Cars & Bikes
✔ Always lock your car and double‑check before walking away
✔ Don’t leave bags, phones or valuables on display
✔ Use a strong lock for bikes and park in well‑lit areas

Going Away?
✔ Ask a neighbour to keep an eye out
✔ Cancel deliveries and avoid sharing holiday plans online
✔ Make sure doors and windows are locked before you go
